Volunteer

We train volunteer facilitators, venue stewards, and peer supporters through a structured programme that takes around twelve hours over three weekends. Volunteering with us is a genuine skill-building experience as well as a chance to make a visible difference in your own town.

Donate

A gift of any size helps us keep our workshops free and our venues accessible — £25 covers the printed materials for an entire workshop cohort, and £150 funds a full Sleep Reset series for twelve participants. Every pound donated to a Scottish SCIO is eligible for Gift Aid, stretching your contribution by 25% at no extra cost to you.

Partner With Us

Local employers, community anchor organisations, and health services can partner with us to bring free wellbeing talks and taster workshops to their staff or members, co-fund new programme strands, or provide in-kind support such as venue space or printing. We are always open to conversations about how collaboration can extend our reach across North Lanarkshire.

Volunteering with us

A real skill-building experience in your own community

Our volunteer training programme is designed for people who care about their community — not just those with professional health backgrounds. We take people with no prior experience and give them the knowledge, skills, and ongoing supervision to make a genuine contribution in their own neighbourhood.

Training takes around twelve hours spread across three weekends and covers active listening, facilitation basics, safeguarding awareness, and an introduction to the anxiety and sleep techniques we teach in our workshops. After training, volunteers are matched with sessions and mentored by our experienced facilitators until they feel confident.

Most of our current volunteer facilitators first attended our programmes as participants. Many tell us that volunteering has been as valuable for their own wellbeing as the workshops themselves.
