Motherwell is a place of grit, resilience, and deep community bonds — but like many post-industrial towns, it carries its share of invisible weight. Since the closure of Ravenscraig, generations of residents have navigated economic uncertainty, shift-work legacies, and the quiet strain that settles into the body long after the blast furnaces go cold.

At Vibrant Health Advocates – Copper, we work directly with that reality. We run small, welcoming workshops in community venues across the town where local people — no referral required, no waiting list, no clinical jargon — learn proven, practical techniques to quiet anxious thoughts and sleep more deeply.

Our approach is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy principles, mindfulness, sleep hygiene science, and breathwork, delivered by trained facilitators who understand this community because they live here too. We are not a crisis service and we are not a therapy clinic; we are neighbours helping neighbours find steadier ground.
